Milan Visa & Passport

Milan visa is not required for the countries which are under Schengen agreement. Name of such countries are Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia and many more. One must know that it is absolutely impossible to convert a tourist visa into any other form of visa once you are in Italy. One can stay only three months on the basis of tourist visa. Spouses and children of EU nationals and few other nationals from other countries can get visas free of charge. Details can be available only in Embassy.

Application form for Milan Visa requires passport to Milan, One passport-size photograph, Health insurance, Proof of sufficient funds to cover duration of stay, Fee, Proof of means of onward/return travel, Proof of accommodation, Proof of occupation, eg letter from employer, solicitor or Chamber of Commerce. If you are applying for business visa then you may have to submit Proof of business status and Evidence of business contact(s) in Italy.
